"Two years ago we moved into a house circa 1710. It is in a very public location and our goal has been to bring the property back to more of what it used to be, a farm. We've worked hard to properly restore the property and had finally gotten to the point of refilling the old stone barn foundation with a new barn. The barn had to fit and we wanted it to blend in with both the main house and the topography. Having been both a timber framer and designer myself, I knew I wanted someone who would work with me to make not only the overall structure but also the subtle details come to life. Troy and his team truly blew my wife and I away. Their execution surpassed our expectations. Throughout the process from developing the contract details to finishing the project there was great two way communication. Troy brought suggestions and clearly listened to what we were trying to achieve.

The end result is a new two stall walk-out barn, a workshop space on the main level with bathroom and a sail-loft third floor. The barn fits the look of the property perfectly and is clearly built to last into the generations that will follow.

Best of all though, was the experience. The site was clean, the guys polite and competent, and when they said something would happen it always did."
